Braisd Hot Belly With Roasted Garlic
Ingredients:
1.5kg pork belly (with skin)
8 bolied eggs (shelled)
10 dried chillies
2 roasted garlics
Adequate water
Marinade:
4 1/2 table spoon light soy sauce
2 1/2 table spoon sugar
2 table spoon dark soy sauce
1 tea spoon pepper
1/2 tea spoon monosodium glutamate
1/2 tea spoon salt
Method:
1) Cut pork belly into large pieces (about a inch thick), mix well with marinade and marinate over night,
2) Place the marinated pork belly in a deep pot. Add in dried chillies and garlics. Pour in water just cover the ingredients.
3) Covered and bring to the boil. Add in boiled egg (without shelled), reduce to low flame and braised until cooked through and the meat are tender or until the gravy is thicken. Remove from heat and serve with rice.
